Metro Atlanta Fall Festivals, Pumpkin Patches, and Corn Mazes

Whether you’re looking for a pumpkin-picking outing, an afternoon of live music, or a festival filled with food and family fun, we’ve rounded up some seasonal favorites to help you plan your next adventure.

Festivals & Seasonal Events

(Fridays – Sundays, now through November 1st)

Enjoy a full afternoon of seasonal entertainment, storybook characters, park attractions, and fall photo opportunities. This year’s festival includes a new hay maze, along with storytelling and live shows. Stay after sunset for the glowing displays and Pumpkin Drone & Light Show. Festival activities are included with a Daily Attraction Ticket or Mountain Membership; parking is an additional charge.

October 1–November 1; closed Mondays | Atlanta Botanical Garden

Take a stroll through the Garden to discover creative scarecrows made by local families, schools, businesses, and community groups. In celebration of the Garden’s 50th anniversary, this year also features a special collection of supersized scarecrows on the Great Lawn Garden. It’s a fun way to enjoy the season and capture a few fall photos along the way!

October 8–18 | Cumming Fairgrounds

Nothing says fall quite like carnival rides, fair food, and a day at the fair! The Cumming Country Fair & Festival brings together midway games, farm animals, live entertainment, and attractions for the whole family. Check the daily schedule for concerts, admission specials, and ride promotions before choosing your day.

October 9–10 | Downtown Alpharetta

Spend a fall weekend enjoying live music throughout downtown Alpharetta. This year’s festival features more than 40 performances across seven stages, with Corey Smith and Sister Hazel among the headliners. Between performances, explore the Music Makers Market, enjoy interactive art, or stop at a downtown restaurant.

October 17 | Downtown Chamblee

Bring your appetite for an afternoon celebrating Chamblee’s food and community! Along with bites and beverages available for purchase, you’ll find local artisans, live music, culinary competitions, a kids zone, and college football on big screens. Admission is free, with food, drinks, and crafts sold separately.

October 17 | Historic Marietta Square

Enjoy a classic fall festival featuring handmade arts and crafts, scarecrow displays, a pie-eating contest, and Halloween activities. Kids can explore Touch-a-Truck from 9 a.m.–2 p.m., and costume contests add to the festivities—including one for pets!

October 17–18 | Brookhaven Park

New location for 2026: This year’s celebration takes place at Brookhaven Park, 4158 Peachtree Road NE. The free festival brings together live music, cultural performances, food trucks, a global marketplace, interactive art, and activities for kids. It’s a wonderful opportunity to explore the cultures that help make our community so vibrant.

October 17–18 | Little Five PointsParade: October 18 at 1 p.m.

For a lively Halloween outing, head to Little Five Points for two days of music, art vendors, and creative costumes. The parade is a highlight, filling the neighborhood with colorful characters and plenty of Halloween spirit.

October 17–18, 24–25, and 31 | Zoo Atlanta

Put on your costumes and enjoy a family-friendly Halloween celebration with trick-or-treating, crafts, carnival games, themed entertainment, and photo opportunities. New for 2026, the fun also includes Halloween day! Boo at the Zoo is included with general admission and is free for Zoo Atlanta members and children under 3. Review the Zoo’s costume guidelines before your visit.

November 7–8 | Chastain Park

Keep the fall outings going into November with a visit to this free outdoor arts festival. Browse fine art and handmade crafts, enjoy acoustic music, and grab something to eat from the food vendors. A children’s area makes it a fun option for a family afternoon, too.

Pumpkin Patches & Farm Adventures

Southern Belle Farm — McDonough

This 330-acre farm offers pumpkins, a corn maze, hayrides, barnyard animals, and plenty of room for a day of outdoor fun. Weekend activities include jumping pillows, slides, a cow train, and pig races. Entry to the pumpkin patch, market, and bakery is free; activity tickets must be purchased online. Check the farm’s calendar for available dates and attractions.

Jaemor Farms — Alto

Make a North Georgia outing of Jaemor’s Harvest Celebration, featuring a corn maze, hayrides, farm games, and a pumpkin train. The pumpkin patch offers a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors for carving or decorating. Pumpkin-patch admission is included with the Harvest Celebration pass, while pumpkins are purchased separately. The Harvest Celebration is open daily in October, with hours varying by day.

Washington Farms — Bogart

With a pumpkin patch, corn maze, flower fields, and more than 35 activities, Washington Farms offers plenty to fill a fall day. Highlights include wagon rides, a petting zoo, jumping pillows, slides, and a pirate ship. There is no admission fee to enter the pumpkin patch, but activity tickets are sold online only and can sell out. The farm is cashless, so bring a card or a supported digital payment method.

Burt’s Pumpkin Farm — Dawsonville

Burt’s is a favorite for browsing rows of pumpkins and visiting the country store. The pumpkin patch and store are open daily in October from 9 a.m.–6 p.m., with free admission and parking. Hayrides are an additional charge, and this year’s ride includes a new trip through Autumn & Gordy’s Harvest House—a giant drive-through pumpkin!

Scottsdale Farms — Milton

For a fall outing closer to North Atlanta, Scottsdale Farms combines pumpkin shopping with a garden center, home décor shopping, and a café. The pumpkin patch is free to visit; you pay only for the pumpkins you choose. Its separately ticketed Family Fun Field offers hayrides, a corn maze, slides, zip lines, farm animals, and lawn games.

Open September 19–November 8, Uncle Shuck’s offers a 15-acre corn maze, pumpkins, wagon rides, and activities for kids. In October, the farm is open daily, with evening hours on Fridays and Saturdays. For those looking for a spookier experience, the separately ticketed Dark Rows haunted trail runs on Friday and Saturday nights in October.

Before heading out, visit the linked event or farm website for the latest hours, ticket requirements, weather updates, and activity availability.
